How far is the Beach House from town?
The beach house is only located about a 15-20 minutes walk into Batemans Bay proper. There is a takeaway general store about 30 seconds walk down the Parade at Surfside shops.
Do we need a car to get around?
Simple answer is no, but is the preferred form of transport used. There is a bus stop about a 1 minutes walk away which will take you directly into the main shopping malls and main attractions. Taxi’s are available also and some clubs have courtesy bus pickup services. Info can be found in the beach house information rack in the kitchen.
How can I get from the International Airport to the Beach House?
From either Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne, you can catch a regional flight to Moruya Airport, which is located about a 30 minutes drive away from the beach house. Rental cars are also available from the airport or taxi.
Is there place to boat or waterski?
Absolutely, we are right on the water. If your thinking of bringing your own boat or jetski, we have a boat ramp only about a 2 minutes drive away. Also there are boats, sail boats, jet ski’s and kayaks available for hire. Just ask our caretaker for directions if needed.
Is there someone close by for any help?
Yes, we have a caretaker living close by for help 24/7. So if you need to know anything, you are always taken care of. Make sure to ask where the best fishing spots are! Call 0419949500
